Dear Diary,

Here we are in Copenhagen having been on the ship now for two days. The first day was at sea, so we spent a leisurly day loafing around. The weather was cold and overcast, so we didn't go anywhere near the pool! However it gave us a chance to get used to the ship and all it's facilities.

This morning we docked in Copenhagen and spent the day walking (once again!) to the city (via the little mermaid, of course) and then on a tour of the city's waterways. It is a very clean and beautiful city with much similarities to Amsterdam. The architecture of the modern buildings is very Danish with clear,functional and minimilistic style. We were blessed with clear skies, cold air and a hot sun, so we couldn't complain any more about the weather.

We had a bonus on our walk back to the ship when we crossed the path of the Queen of Denmark as she alighted from her lighter after arriving by her yacht. She didn't ask us to tea though as we were due back at the boat!
