Got up nice and early to start our first day trekking in the Thai jungle. We left our big rucksacks back at the elephant camp and we got a transfer to the jungle. Arrived in Chiang Mai about 7am(ish) we were taken to the elephant sanctuary by a truck which was fun. Given our keys at the reception area and headed to our own guest house. This was our free day in Bangkok so took advantage of seeing more of Bangkok with Amarjit, Sophie and Hannah. It was another hot hot day. We got a taxi which took half an hour or so. We went to the biggest market in the whole world and big it was. There were animals there too of every kind; puppies, kittens, hamsters, squirrels even hedgehogs. And lots of antiques and wooden artefacts. We grabbed some ice cream which was really nice and needed. We left the hotel...
