Got flight from Singapore to Bangkok which only took two hours. Again had a nice meal and had some coffee. I was very tired!!! Quite anxious too thinking oh my word I will be in Bangkok soon!!!! Got to Bangkok and went through passport control, collected my luggage and then went through Nothing to Declare. Then I met the Gap 360 guys and waited on Amarjit coming in from London. We then got a transfer to the hotel which was really quick. The heat after leaving the airport was overwhelming - wow - just like opening an oven!!!!!
Got to the hotel and checked in!! Went straight for a cold shower, got everything organised and then headed out with Amarjit to check out Koah San road, possibly one of the craziest roads in the world. Selling everything from scorpions to eat to clothes to food. We went back to the hotel where we met the other guys on the trip. At 8pm we all met up at the entrance lobby and then we went to a cool restaurant along Koah San road where I had chicken stir fry and cashew nuts on recommendation, wow it was lovely. Also had a piña colada. After we went to a really cool bar called Golf which sold drinks at 80baht - very cheap!!! Was lovely. Then we went to a nightclub and had a couple more drinks and danced. Got home at 12.15am or thereabouts.
