Hey again! I have a LOT to tell you since I last wrote... I left Bali about a week ago, was very sad to see Menna go :( but here's to the next year of travelling with a new buddy! Then I had a night in Malaysia with Rach's uncle and aunt. They put me up in a lovely hotel (hot shower and everything!) in Kuala Lumpur and I had an awesome dinner with them. Then I flew to Vietnam and met Rachael at the airport... We've been staying in a backpackers hostel in Hanoi...

Hey! Quite a lot has happened since last time I wrote. We're now in Ubud and have been for a few days. Ubud is a lot more tropical than Kuta, it seems like we're in the middle of a jungle up here. So anyway back to where we left off last time...sadly it turned out we missed the surf comp by a day and the pros had already moved onto Hawaii. Sad times. Hi everyone! So we're in Kuta, Bali at the mo. Just come in from a morning's surf on the beach, met some cool Balinese instructors. We were introduced to Eryl, a professional photographer who told us that he'd just come up from Ulu Watu, where 44 of the world's top pro surfers are currently in a Ripcurl comp!
