We had a 2 night stopover in Edmonton before returning the car to Calgary. He we went to an ice hockey game. Not as much atmosphere as we though and to Craig’s disappointment there were not big fights! They really draw the game out but it was a fun experience and a must do once. The next day we visited West Edmonton Mall which claims to be the biggest mall in that world but we were dubious. There were 2 floors, plenty of shops, a water park, theme park, mini golf, hotels and a lake with a huge pirate ship, bumper boats and a sealion show. We’re still not total convinced it is the biggest n the world but it was impressive!
Before leaving the next day we went on a moose hunt in Elk Island National Park but only found bison.
