Its been a busy few days!We got the train down fromBangkok on Sundat evening, there were no sleeper carriages left so we had to sit the whole 10 hours not comfy at all, i think we had like 4hrs sleep between us.  So we arrived at Surat thani and managed to get ourselves a combined bus and boat ticket to the island.  On route to Don Sai, the port, we stopped off to pick up some more passengers and the bus drivers did some dodgy dealing.  Back on the bus we realised how dodgy, the were eating grass whilst driving eek!But dont worry we arrived at the port safely and were very happy to be rid of the crazy drivers hehe.

   The boat was about 3hrs and we arrived in Thong Sala really tired and ready for bed.  We arranged some accomodation in Hat Khom, the northern part of the island thats much quieter and remote.  We got an open backed jeep to the bungalows, the roads were really bumpya few people we noticed tried to brave it on mo peds but they had no chance hehe.  The place we stayed was called coconut beack it was absolutely gorgeous, but so cut off from the outside world. After two nights we decided we needed to find something a bit more happening, so we've come down to Hat Rin.  There is a half moon party we plan to go to tonight and then tomorrow we'll probably head to Ko Tao hopefully not feeling too worse for wear.  Anyway il put up photos soon,  Thinking about you all, Lots of love becs xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
