Hey everyone!

Arrived safe and sound! Flight was very long and didn't really get much sleep! Luckily the silly kid behind me made it off the plane as well!! Its absolutely boiling here but more in a stuffy way although the sun was out earlier!

Very tired today so myself and Anna (a girl who was on my flight and is in the same hotel) went for a wander around the city! We went up to Little India, which was very surreal. On the way from the airport, it was very green and huge skyscrapers but Little India was the complete opposite. It seemed almost deprived but was a good experience. It's all very safe out here, although the drivers are a bit crazy! Had a power nap and just popped out to the shop for some food! We had some local food (just rice and veg-nothing too scary!) for lunch but got a Malaysian style pot noodle for dinner!! Living the high life eh?!

The hotel is lovely and I'm in a room of 5, we each have our own bed, cupboard and locker and then we share a shower/bathroom which is attatched to the room! The internet is free here so I will try and update you every day while I can! On the rooftop there is a lovely chill out area with some amazing views. Once I get some more pictures I will put them all up!

Hopefully going to do a tour of the city over the weekend, and go on what we are calling the Singapore Eye (actually the singapore flyer)! Then gonna do a day of heading over to Sentosa which looks brilliant! We flew over it on the way in and the golf course looks amazing although I doubt my skills will impress them!

Anyways, better dash- there's some lazying about on the rooftop terrace to be done!!
