SO I've not written for a fair while - have been sooooo busy!! Went on a day trip with the volunteers to the Gomantong caves - was an experience! We had a short walk down a board walk to this cave - with lots of ropes hanging from the roof. It was so high, and there were birds and bats swooping round the ceiling. So, its been a while since i last added to my blog - sorry its been a busy time! I spent three days last week staying in a lodge on the Kinabatangan River, and absolutely loved it! saw lots of wildlife, loads of proboscis Monkeys ( which you only get in Borneo) and they're really cool - the males make this weird honking noise, and have huge noses and pot bellies, and look weirdly human! and they can leap huge distances - we just sat and watched them for hours! Well, I've been in Borneo just over a week now, and am having a fantastic time! I've been so busy I've not been able to blog, and even this is gonna have to be a quicky, as I'm off on a river cruise down the Kinabatangan River to see hopefully lots of wildlife, so very excited! Have spent a couple of days sampling the orangs, which are so unbelievably cute, but a few of them are an absolute pain, and so naughty!! one of the older ones, ran into the babies nursery...

So, I'm in Borneo! Arrived here on Saturday, but have had a spell of no internet access, so haevn't written sooner! Spent all day travelling on Saturday - I felw from Langkawi to KL and then on to Sandakan. Spent a large portion of my day pulling things out of my backpack to get it down to weight for the airline, and then scanning it, reweighing it, rearranging, rescanning, reweighin etc etc. It was a rather tedious process!
