Well, my last day in Langkawi has been fun filled and very busy! Got up early for the tour this morning. So I've arrived in sunny Langkawi, and yes it is sunny!! actual hot sun! had a bit of fun getting here - the ferry was pretty uneventful, but when we arrived at Langkawi, a group of about 9 of us got a bus from the jetty to Pantai Centai, the main beach in Langkawi, and were quoted 42 Ringitts, but when we arrived, the taxi driver changed his mind and tried to charge us 54 Ringitts. Have now arrived in rainy Penang. I seem to take the rain with me wherever I go, but only stopping here for 2 nights, to see a coupla temples ( including snake temple!!) and then off to langkawi for hopefully, some sun!!! So am in the Cameron Highlands, and went on a tour this morning of all the key sights! It was a tour run from the hostel and there was a group of ten of us - 5 brits, Emma, a Swedish girl I've met here, a swiss woman and a dutch couple, but they all spoke pretty good english and was a nice group. Well I've just arrived at the cameron highlands, after a journey on a very luxury bus, which surprised me! It had seats that pretty much turned into beds, so was a very nice journey. Theres lots to do here, but I'm only stopping for a couple of days, so got to decided what to do. I'm gonna go straight fro a nap now I'm in the cool as I've not slept properly since I left the UK!
