We caught our coach with plenty of time. We have been packed and ready to go all morning. We had one last stop to Waitrose for breakfast before our taxi was outside our new home ready to take us to Milton Keynes Coach Station.
Pulling into London Victoria we had now arrived in the heart of the British capital. Dropping of our heavy rucksack we set off to complete our last few jobs before catching our plane later that evening.
One backpack brought, and after spending the rest of the day hunting for a post office in the busy capital so we could post some bras (as Bev had about £100 worth to be refunded) we started our trip to Heathrow. With the backpack on I back we started to take on the underground during the evening rush hour. Lucky we opted to take the district line out of Victoria and then catch the Piccadilly line to Heathrow. This was because I believed it would have more room for us and our luggage compared to the older Victoria Line. This turned out to be a stroke of luck when we saw the station staff start to close the station due to the busy crowds for the Victoria line.
Finally at Heathrow with plenty of time to spare we completed one last bag check and dropped it off at the check in desk. We then waited to board the very big and new Airbus A380. Next stop... Dubai.
