Hello all from Ilha Grande!! We came here for some rest and relaxation, but the weather has been very cloudy!! Busy preparing for Rio though and laying low on a tropical island is not that much of a hradship, is am still managing to tan through the clouds.

What to tell you? Well after the Inca trail we flew to Sao Paolo, went to see the massive cathedral there, smuglled ourselves up the city´s tallest building and saw the local park. Then went on overnight bus to coast. The bus was amazing, much more creature comforts than national express!!

WE have trekked round this island, slid down a waterfall, seen tiny wild monkeys and even managed to pick up a smattering of portugeuse. After carnival in Rio we are planning to head to South Argentina to see Penguinbs and Glaciers, might stop off at Patagonia to do some horse riding.
