Hi everyone, Well me may have only been in Singapore for 3 days but boy have they been eventful! Yesterday afternoon when popping into Raffles Hotel Lobby to have a peep at the world famous hotel, we found ourselves in the middle of a media frenzy as the Queen of Spain came through the door, shortly followed by Sven Goran Erikson coming down the escalator behind us, and minutes later bumping into Matthew Pincent, Colin Jackson, Johnathon Edwards, Cathy Freeman, Tammy Grey Thompson and then Denise Lewis. Couldn't believe our luck!! But that wasn't the end of it, that evening while meeting up with Issy and Katie who had just landed in Singapore, we got a phone call from Janet Piper telling us she could get us into the London Olympic Bid Celebration Party! So obviously she didn't need to say another word and we were down there like a shot. And after meeting the bouncer at the gate who luckily Janet had become very friendly with that day, all four of us slipped into the most incredible party that we were later told BBC jounalists of 20 years hadnt been able to get into. And the rest of the night was spent mingling with Colin Jackson (who I for some reason asked to dance-extremely embarassing), Johnathon Edwards and Denise Lewis and unleashing some incredible dance moves with Ade Adepitan (famous paraolympic basketball player featured on the BBC adverts) who, according to Clare's mum, we were pictured dancing with on the ITV news. He even invited us to go onto a club with him! But the highlight had to be the four of us getting invited up on stage by the winner of Singapore Idol who was performing, for us to be his backing dancers!!! Incredible evening, not to be forgotten!
