BULA from Fiji. As you can see we have updated our photos for you all to marvel at. Since we last wrote we have made a trip to robinson crusoe island for two nights which was really good fun. While there we went snorkelling and saw a shark which was really quite scary and beth and i have never swam so fast in all our lives, but it has definitely helped us over come our fear of fish, because we then went even further and ate a fish for dinner (there was no other option except starvation). we also went sea kayaking, played volley ball, swam, and watched tribal dances followed by midnight bonfires. Luckily for us cheap skates all of this was free. While in fiji no one has heard of Rutland and then much to our amazement we got talking to some guys who not only knew oakham well (and its pubs) but also knew half our year, very spooky. Since being here we have also experienced the disgusting national drink known as kava. It looks like murky water and tastes like murky water in fact it may possibly BE murky water. Point is it was horrible and we had to drink loads of it as it is rude to decline. Moving on to random acts of kindness, a complete stranger gave us 10 dollars today cos we told him we were broke and pulled out the line that us english should stick together and help one another out, and you guys thought we would not get by. We have also introduced every one we have met to the wonder that is top trumps and are seriously considering setting up a club. (any one coming to meet us out here please bring top trumps cards and travel wash for beth). Anyhoooo we flew to Aukland today and are staying at some relations so have acess to a computer which is really exciting, also ate cheese another novelty. tomorrow beth gets to drive a car around new zealand which is exciting. will write soon, still missing you all love clare and beth ps this is the last card you will get from me (clare) as despite beths dictating i am unable to spell. xxxxxxxxxxxxxx
