"Hey" from New Zealand! Well we've been here three days now and have almost had enough time to wash all our smelly clothes. Yesterday we took the car out for a spin (and a smoke!) as Beth cleverly left the handbrake on the whole way back and by the time we arrived home the rear end of the vehicle was almost on fire and smelling nearly as dodgy as we do. Whilst in town we did a litle shopping (and even more eating-how have we only just discovered the joy that is a Subway sandwich?!) and managed to pick up a New Zealand sim card. So if anybody desperately wants to ring us or text with highly important information (such as the latest goings on in the O.C.) then it shouldnt be nearly as expensive. The no. is 0064210730709. Although we only have one channel thats tuned in here, luckily for us it happens to be the best channel on earth and features great shows like Neighbours, Wife Sway, Extreme Makeover, The O.C. (but a few episodes behind England!) and other such delights. Today we drove into Tauranga and went to see Meet the Fockers (absolutely classic!) and then headed on to Mount Monganui which is a small volcano that we hope is dormant since we tried climbing the beast. Then we treated ourselves to a cruise along the beach front which resembled something out of the O.C. (we appreciate we're beginning to sound obsessed and there'e a chance we are). Huge glass fronted mansions lined the road over looking gorgeous white sand and blue sea. Tomorrow we plan to go back to the beach and chill out, you cant over do this travelling malarky! Whilst shopping we found a hugely entertaining game (and possible hobby) which involves trying on every pair of funny sunglasses in the shop and taking photos (much to the annoyance of the shop owner). Its very theraputic and we would recommend it to anyone!
