So we've left Guernsey!

Having left Guernsey with an impressively sized farewell party waving us off(thanks everyone it was really sweet)-we made our way emotionally through departures and before we knew it had arrived in Stanstead where Miller was meeting us (or that was the plan at least) we made our way to the drop off point and waited,...and waited...and waited...Meanwhile Miller pulled up at the drop off point , he waited too....unfortunately he was waiting at Gatwick! not only was he waiting at Gatwick but his mobile had no battery! 4 hours later Matt and YV met us at Stanstead and we spent the night chilling at hers.

After a bright and early departure from YV's at 6.45 the 3 hours we had given ourselves to get there went scarily slowly...infact after 2 hours we had only moved 10 miles! things started to get a bit tense with the speedometer not having gone above 15 mphso far...but as we started preparing for the worst suddenly the traffic parted and we made the rest of the juourney in 30 mins!

After a 2 hour delay due to broken toilets we were off and spent the time watxching films, enjoying airplane food and counting down the time...then we were there-looking down over a snow covered Toronto! SNOW!!!! i think the locals were a little bemused by my excitement of the mushy stuff either side of the runway but its SNOW!!!!!

anyway we're off to actually see some of Sarnia now!
