Arrived in kangeroo island at 10am and headed first to Seal Bay where we saw all the sea lions on the beach and jumping in an out of the water. Unfortunately we took the wrong turing on the way there and ended up down a dirt track which really required a 4x4!!! oh well!! Then we went onto the little shara desert and walked up the sand dunes. After that the Kelly Hill limestone caves for a tour and then to Flinders Chase National park to see the remarkable rocks (in the photo) and admirals arch. Also saw some wild kangeroos and a baby joey! You could stroke them though! After a long day we drove to the man town on the island Kingscote where we stayed. Had steak out at a pub over looking the beach.
The next day we visited Emu bay and vivionne bay which is supposed to be the best beach in australia. After that we went to the Ecuyiptus Distillery where they make all the different oils. The people who ran the place had a baby kangeroo with its own basket, so cute!! Lastly we went to the honey farm had lunch there and tried some really good chocolate honeycomb. Before the ferry went to Island beach which was the best beach ive ever seen. Crystal waters noone on it white sands and the sun shining! lovely! Got the ferry back in the afternnon and saw dolphins swimming around! Drove to Adeliade in the afternoon. Really liked Kangeroo Island, hardly anyone around and some amazing sights.
