Arrived safely in Auckland at got a taxi to my hostel in the city. In the evening I went to the top of the sky tower which is in the picture, is the hightest tower in the southern hemisphere and had fantastic views. I got up there just in time to see the sun going down over the harbour and then saw the city lit up and night too. Auckland covers a really large area 2x London, but is pretty because there is water and sailing boats everywhere. On the way in the taxi...

Long drive today out through Adeliade, though Handorff a german village, then onto the biggest rocking horse in the world...very random. Was soooo hot about 40. Stopped briefly at the Murray river as well and in a town called Keith before getting to the Grampains, Halls Gap in the evening for an early night.

Arrived in Adelaide and went out for dinner and a few drinks. Happy Valentines!The next day we drove up to mt Lofty summit which had gorgous views over the city and the coastline right down to Kangeroo Isl. We then headed to Glenleg beach for the afternnon and went out in the evening after dinner. 37 degrees today!!

Arrived in kangeroo island at 10am and headed first to Seal Bay where we saw all the sea lions on the beach and jumping in an out of the water. Unfortunately we took the wrong turing on the way there and ended up down a dirt track which really required a 4x4!!! oh well!! Then we went onto the little shara desert and walked up the sand dunes. After that the Kelly Hill limestone caves for a tour and then to Flinders Chase National park to see the remarkable rocks (...

After Strathablyn stop we headed stright to Victor Harbour where we stayed in a lovely chalet and had a bbq! Cooked lovely salmoon roasted veggies and jacket spud. In the morning headed off on the ferry to Kangeroo Island!!
