Our second leg has begun.....we had a wonderful time in Rome albeit very hot days(40 degrees) ....we heard the stories of the colosseum, indulged in the tastes of Rome on 2 foodies tour, wandered around the ancient cobbled streets seeing building that have had several 100 yr birthdays. We met amazing new friends who helped us explore the nightlife and soak in chianti.....

Now we are in Florence, arrived to HOT weather again and found our way to our little hotel.....a slight let down after our Roman palace!! Having said that the air con works well and the bed is comfy.

Out exploring today - ponte vecchio and to see the local sights with Georgies friends....
