Vancouver and B.C. are the most beautiful and vibrant mountainous place I have been... it would be my 2nd choice of places to live! Climbing is inspiring - especially given the 100% sun and crystal blue skys... unheard of in these parts! Mountain voyages were -: Whistler, Blackcomb, The Chief, Lady Mountain, Cheam, Grouse, and Seymor... before headed back to Washington State. My hosts were equal to the best - they showed me their world and what a world it was!!! A running race on trails the majority would not walk! A bike ride basically down a forested cliff... And adventures for coffee, slurpies, mini donuts, bikes and beers... along the way we saw the most spectacular lantern festival... a Vancouver not to be missed event... but there seemed to be dozens per week during the summer... this area of the world is a must explore!!! Onward to Baker, Rainier and Olympic Mountain... I hope for luck - Peter
