Today we set off after breakfast a couple of miles down the road to Lake Mead Marina. We had a walk onto the pier of the Marina and at 12pm took a trip on a boat out to the Hoover dam and back. On board we had some lunch and a couple of drinks and got some great pics of the dam as you will see in the pics. Today we were up very early as of jet lag about 6am. We took the shuttle bus to one of the grand canyon viewing points and the views were spectacular. We headed back to our RV about 10.30 to pack up and head towards grand canyon airport for our helicopter ride. At 12pm. This was absolutely amazing and views were even better. Our first full day in America we checked out of the Luxor hotel and was picked up by El Monte RV at 7.30am from the hotel next door, The Mandalay Bay. We arrived at their depot, we sorted the paperwork & we left for our first drive in our 31ft RV. First stop Walmart to fill up with food etc for the holiday. Hi everyone, Me, Gemma, Nick & Carla are having a great holiday so far. On the first day arriving in Vegas, we spent the evening in the Luxor hotel. We went out exploring the hotel and going out for a meal & a few drinks. Vegas is amazing and can't wait for the last 2 nights of our holiday when we are back in vegas.
