Today we were up very early as of jet lag about 6am. We took the shuttle bus to one of the grand canyon viewing points and the views were spectacular. We headed back to our RV about 10.30 to pack up and head towards grand canyon airport for our helicopter ride. At 12pm. This was absolutely amazing and views were even better. You can't describe the view. After this we started our journey back towards Vegas, stopping at Hoover dam on the way. This was very hot and also brill. We arrived at out next campground around 6pm at lake mead rv village with a lake view. Straight away we went down to the lakes to have a dip as it was so hot. We went back to the rv and had dinner, good old spag bowl. We then relaxed for a bit before heading to bed.
