Our first full day in America we checked out of the Luxor hotel and was picked up by El Monte RV at 7.30am from the hotel next door, The Mandalay Bay. We arrived at their depot, we sorted the paperwork & we left for our first drive in our 31ft RV. First stop Walmart to fill up with food etc for the holiday. We then started our first journey from vegas to grand canyon which took approx 6 hrs. On route we stopped a place called Williams where we had to refuel and stopped for a quick drink. When arriving at the grand canyon, we checked in at grand canyon trailer village rv park. Before dark, we managed to get hooked up to electric, water & sewage & get the BBQ on the go. Then off to bed and up ready for day 3.
