Left at 7am from Yosemite and heading towards San Francisco. We arrived at our rv park on the the sea front in Pacifica. We soon grabbed a cab into San Francisco towards pier 33 where we were getting the Alcatraz cruise accros to, you guessed, Alcatraz at 3.55pm. This was great to see and well worth it. We took an audio tour around the prison which told you everything about it. Which was good also was the view of San Francisco from the sea of the whole city. We arrived back to land around 6.30 and went to fishermans wharf. We had dinner at rainforest cafe and this was really good. Food, drinks were great. We grabbed a cab back to our RV park for a good nights sleep ready for the morning for our start of a 3 day/2 night journey down the coast on highway 1.
