Today we had a day in San Diego. Awake not too early today. We had a breakfast etc & went down to Campland's beach. This was so nice as it was in a Bay area so was very calm & clean. This time we took our 4 x chairs to the beach and sitting on these in the sun was so relaxing. We were all talking about either hiring a boat or jet ski so me & nick went down to the Marina area to find out prices etc. We went back to the girls to get them to come down with us to decide what we wanted to do. We decided on hiring the boat for 2 hours which came with a water tube on the back which we would have loads of fun with.We booked to go out at 1pm. The boat left available was the 11 person one, which was to us looked like a Millionaires boat. Really sporty looking with cream, leather interior.Nick set us all off into the bay whick was at the start 5mph until we got to deeper water and away from the shore. We were then free to go as fast as we want which was what Nick did. This thing was so fast, i didnt think it could go that fast. In the time we had the boat we all had a drive & had a go on the tube. This was really fun for all, even though i hurt my nose & done a flip when coming off. I want one of these boats :) We went back after 1.5 hours with the boat as the hirer had said if we came back early we could have a jet ski for the remainder of the time. So we had one for half hour. Nick & Carla went out first, then me & Gemma had a go. This was great fun also. After all this fun we went back to the beach for an hour to relax before going back to the RV to get showered & ready for the Padres baseball game. We got a taxi from reception at 5.30pm to Old Town, San Diego to then get the trolly to Petco Park, the home of the Padres. We arrived at the Pardres half hour before the 7pm start. we grabbed some dinner & a beer and went to our seats. The view was great and we was looking forward to the game, even though we didnt have a clue how the rules went. To help us out Nick met a older couple next to him that had been coming for years, who helped us with any questions we asked. The game was very enjoyable & the Padres won so was even better. We left the game about 9pm to get the trolley back to the Old Town then a taxi back to Campland. SeaWorld tomorrow.
