Again, a small 'town' with little to do if you don't have a car! The place is famous for it's surfing - there are various big events each year - but the coast is 8 kms away from the actual town!
So again, we were stuck without a car and the weather wasn't too great either. Still, we did manage to go for an uneventful walk in the woods, just to relieve the boredom!
Thankfully we booked ourselves on a bushtucker tour - a half day of canoeing on the Margaret River including a chance to sample some great food (and some not so great, like the Witchetty Grub). Doing this tour was definitely a good decision - it was great fun (despite the pouring rain and often dodgy steering of our boat by the Dutch) and how many people can honestly say that they've eaten Witchetty Grub?!
