I can't believe I'm home!! 10 countries......312 days!

New York city - so good they named it twice...the city that never sleeps...oh you know what I'm talking about! Can't believe we only have a few days left.....then it's time to go home! Just wish it wasn't so bloody hot here!!

We almost did make it here - when we tried to pick up our hire car, none of our bank cards worked!! We were potentially stuck at Chicago airport with nowhere to stay if we could get the car and no way of paying for anything anyway!The reason - Natiowide had sent us new cards (to our home address, of course) and cancelled our current ones. Home of the worlds first skyscraper and sitting next to a bloody great lake (Lake Michigan) - I rather liked Chicago!
