Soooooo Melbourne Life... where to start!

Bit of a shock to the system having to get a job after traveling around Asia for so long, but I was really looking forward to getting settled for a while and not having to live out of a bag.

However this doesn't mean that the fun and games of traveling slowed up any - some highlights!

Australia Day spent down black rock beach with Stevo and friends... Sunshine, BBQ, Decks - AWESOME!

A few days later Tiny and the Smith gang arrived down under for a few weeks holiday, which was brilliant.
Spent a few days sightseeing Melbourne and doing the Australian open before picking up a 6 berth camper van and hitting the great ocean road in style. Tiny, Macca, Ben, Miss Cook, Kelly and I in a camper van on the great ocean road and enough booze to sink a battle ship! Carnage! Had an absolute blast... It flew by unfortunately and soon Tiny had to head North to Sydney which meant us saying our goodbyes again, as I was a working man and couldn't really take any time off to gallivant up to Sydney so soon after starting!

Future Music festival - an amazing festival which we were all looking forward to as the line up was unbelievable! Unfortunately so was the weather that day! It rained Manchester's monthly rainfall in an afternoon (Yes Manchester's). Managed to see Morillo and Sven Vath before the events started to get cancelled and people started heading home - such rain it was a nightmare! Solution - Temperance in St Kilda where Stevos mate DJ's. Had a great night in there, in fact never failed to be a good night!

Mum don't worry - it wasn't all party and drinking tho. I did manage to run Melbourne's Run for the Kids which is a 15K run around the city... takes in all the sights and was quality to do. Managed a 1:17 which wasn't bad considering a) The Heat and b) My lack of training :o)

Next was something I was absolutely over the moon to be in the country to attend 2 of my closest friends who I love to pieces getting married - Kelly and Macca. Macca had foolishly given me the great honour of being his best man. An opportunity to take the piss out of him and him NOT be able to respond in kind - ermmmmm I'M IN!! It was an amazing day it couldn't have gone better. Kelly looked stunning. Macca was in a suit for the first time and not appearing in front of a judge. Even more importantly Kelly showed up and EVERYONE had a great day.
