Right, I thought I would have a quick go at writing about our short break to London! Obviously it's an expense we could live without but as it's Hanas 21st I thought she deserved a special week!

So we caught the train from good old devon today, which arrived at Paddington at about 3:30, with some window watching an a few episodes of bones it's flew by. Once we got here we hopped on the tube and a very short walk, we were at our hotel. Very nice hotel right next to Victoria station (the z hotel), very smartly designed rooms - perfect for what we need.
So we checked in, sorted our stuff and went straight to it, I've not really seen a lot of London before so wanted to see a few sites. we started with Big Ben and parliament, then over to tower bridge and then up to Oxford street for the urban sport of people dodging. After coming from devon oxford street at Christmas is a explosion of the senses. After a few shops and a waffle we went to see winter wonderland, and it really is a winter wonderland. There's everything and anything to do with Christmas, we sat as had a few pints of German beer and watched the crowds walk by, after this we met up with some of my family where we were treated to a lush meal in a Greek restraunt. Another nice walk and a few tubes later we were back and in bed. All that in half a day! Time for a full day tomorow! X
