Today we woke up and had a chill in the morning. Late morning we got a taxi to Wat Phrathat in Doi Suthep, which is an amazing winding journey up into the mountains. Once there we paid for our ticket and went for a wander around the temple complex, again as in Bangkok the detail and colour is amazing and for a small complex we spent a good hour looking around, before walking the 306 steps to the bottom. Today is another easy blog. we woke up had our breakfast and made our way to the bus stop. A quick stop at 7eleven and we were ready to go. We woke up today in our lush little guesthouse, went down for the included breakfast which was amazing. They had set the table out for us (as we were the only people staying there) which had a dish with a honey Combe and real honey in, some bananas and a palm leaf which when we unwrapped it, it had some white slimed food inside. Today's and easy one to write about, we woke up, sorted the room an our stuff and checked out. We then went to the tour office where we booked our first local bus ticket for our first bit of travelling on our own! The lady who booked our tickets then got us a taxi and came with us to the bus station to show us where to get our bus (worth the extra £4 on the bus ticket) we got in the bus and were the only non Thai people on the bus!
