Well, we're home after possibly the most bizzarre flight in the world! We seemed to be some of the only people on the plane who hadn't been to the 'World Youth Convention' in Australia...there must have been at least one vicar per row! We thought coming back to the West would mean returning to normality, but it seems we're just as strange as everyone else!
Anyway, we're back and both happy and sad. It will take a while to settle in I'm sure. Even paying for things at the till seems strange and I have to bite my tongue to avoid saying 'thank you' in a foreign language!
The last 6 months have been some of the best in our lives. We've met so many lovely people along the way who've really made this trip for us, seen so many sights that words won't ever do justice to....from Angkor Wat to pigs on mopeds, I think we've seen it all! There's been smiles and laughs, moments of complete serenity, near death experiences (not really mum), frustration and confusion. These memories will stay with us for a lifetime, as will our stories which no doubt you will all hear plenty of!
Until the next time...
