Hi Everyone,

Just a quick entry to let you know we're alright and enjoying Bangkok. Bit of a nightmare with the flight being delayed but made it in the end and have had two days of seeing the sights of the city. We're staying in the Khaosan Road area where all the backpackers stay, though when we've been out to other parts of the city there aren't many tourists around, particularly when we got totally lost in the middle of china town!

Went to the Grand Palace today which was really cool, as were the other temples we've visited. Been using boats to get up and down the river as it's much nicer than being in the hectic city streets and accosted by tuk-tuk drivers who want you to hire them even when you say you're only going two minutes down the road and are certainly capable of walking. The weather is lovely, hot and humid but not unbearable. Had some good thai street food and local beer, a meal for two with drinks for three quid can't be bad!

Off to Cambodia early in the morning, looking forward to visiting Angkor Wat in a few days time. Will update again soon.
