We woke up at 4.45am so we only managed to get about 2 1/2 hours sleep. Not good when you have to drive all day from one side of France to the other. We overcame this problem by sleeping in a service station car park shortly after getting off the ferry. Whilst on the ferry we met Ben Harper and got some photos with him. This was a highlight especially after seeing him in London the night before. After sleeping for 2 hours in the car park, we made our way to Nantes to stay with Sophie and Roman. We enjoyed our time with them in their little village of Couffe. We almost didn't make it to Couffe though because we nearly ran out of petrol and most of the service stations we pulled into were closed.
