Loving Zanzibar! We've arrived on the island and I only wish we had longer than 4 days here. The journey to the peninsula car ferry, about 1.5mile away took 1.5hrs due to traffic. It did allow us to jump out though for some deep fried doughnut like products which cost around 3p each!! Think I could OD on them, I ate 6. Healthy. Arusha to Dar After spending 4 days at Snake Park on the outskirts of Arusha , a nice enough campsite but with little to do other than look at killer snakes ( in tanks thankfully) , crocodiles and tortoises we hit the road on Chui, the big yellow truck. We have come into Arusha, 25km from our campsite in Meserani to seek out wifi so we can finally upload the blog we've written off-line whilst on the mountain. Our new campsite has a snake park and educates local people so they can recognise snake species. It also treats over 1000 snakebites per month at its clinic.
