I am on a public internet today at the top of Mt Pilatus in Switerland, so there are quite a few days missing in between. Finding internet access is very difficult. This morning we wandered around Luzern and visited the old city, very beautiful and totally different architecture to Italy or France. Bought some chocolate, mabe some for you Deb, and some clothes and socks, I really didnt pack for this weather. Luckily I bought a new coat in Italy.Today Matt and I took the Boat accross Lake Luzern to catch the cog railway up the mountain. The trip was amazing, it really is a very picturesque place. The hills are beautifully green and dotted with little brown houses. Michelle didnt catch the boat instead she drove to the train station. The cog railway that we then came up is breathtaking. It rises up to the mountain top which is 2132m high at at angle of 48 degrees. This is the steepest cog railway in the world. Its like climbing up a roller coaster but never getting to the top, very very steep. It started to snow half way up ,around about where we lost the view. The is quite a lot of snow at the top. We climbed a narrow slippery set of stairs to get right to the top, Michelle in high heel boots of course. Lovely dinner, off to bed, Germany and Klaus tomorrow. Miss you all.XXX
