We went to the Vatican today which is the smallest country in the world. Actually, it is in Rome but it has a huge wall around it and it has it's own flag and own money. Today mum and I went on a bus trip around Athens which is the Capital of Greece. We went to a huge place on top of a hill called the "Acropolis". There was a lot of old buildings there. Today we stopped in a city called Kusadasi in Turkey. The town is on the beach and it is a place where many people in Turkey go for their summer holidays. It is very beautiful. This morning we woke up and we were in Istanbul. We had a really busy day looking at the sights. We went to an Underground Cistern which is a water storage area under the city. It is really old and the roof is held up by lots of ancient marble pillars. There were fish swimming in there. It was dark but they had lights so you could look around.
