Set off from Ballarat at 9.30am to get the Shuttle Bus. Arrive to Melbourne with plenty of time. Short leg to Perth, 1.5 hour stop over then 17 hours to London. Arrive Thursday morning local time of 5am. Navigate the train into Paddington station, quick change of trains to Bayswater. As we cannot check in till 2pm, we leave the bags at reception, and wander around Hyde Park and the near by museums. Some shopping for supplies to ensure David gets his home cooked meal. Accommodation ok for the price, except for being on the third floor. Great location, 5 min walk to Hyde park.
