Day 7 Have our tickets prepaid for the Castle, arrive at 9.30, to hear the castle is closed due to high winds. Back up plan was to visit all the free museums, not really comparative to the Castle. Day 6 Up and out exploring, first we book the whisky tour for tomorrow, then off to see the Kirks and old town. Wander through the St Giles Kirk, then along the Royal Mile. Stop in at the Fiddlers Arms for Fish and chips for lunch. After lunch we went to Greyfriars Kirk to see the very old graveyard, with parts of th evoriginal wall, the Flodden wall, and the Harry Potter inspirations and then wander up to Calton Hill. Day 5 Up early to ensure we get to the tube station by 9.15, with a change at Victoria station. Arrive Kings Cross, ready for the train journey to Edinburgh. Couple of shots of the 9 and 3/4 platform, before getting on our train. Arrive Edinburgh after 4 hours 15 mins. Navigate our way out of the station to the accommodation.
