Set of at 9am throught many lovely towns, stopped at Oberammagau for a look and brought a Christmas tree decoration, from an amazing shop. Picked up at 10.30 from Hotel Hahn in Munich, met fellow tour members, travelled to Weilheim, dropped off luggage and went for lunch. Lunch at a German beer garden on top of a hill with great views of the alps. After lunch we stopped off at pub to watch the German Moto GP. Tourist day in Munich, visiting castles, museums and major sights. Bit of fun negotiating the suburban train lines to ensure we were going the right way. Toured the city via the hop on hop off bus, seeing the sity highlights. Nice to see a city without the big sky scrapers Bratwurst for lunch with beer at the Olympic stadium. Finished with dinner in a local pub. Up early ready to meet our tour guide Cliff at 10.30am.
