Lovely day in Chamonix, shopping and seeing the sites, cable car up the mountain with coffee at the top. Only went up 3/4 of the mointain to take in the sites. The restaurant being the panoramic view of the ski fields, which involved 2 cables cars to get there. Departed at 4pm to have to stop at Saint Gervais as the Tour de France was in progress and roads were closed. Watched the end of the race on the big screen prior to departure. Up at 7 start the day with a cold shower in Fluelen Swizterland, as there is no hot water. Not the best way to start a day, but 30 minutes later the stunning scenary washed away the memories of the cold shower.
