Sorry I've had to use the same photo... this blog makes me pick one out of the library they have! Hopefully, sooon, I can upload some!
Last night, me and the volunteers, and Charles, the man who works at the hostel we're staying at -Pink Hostel!- went to a reggae party on the beach! Got to say, it was an interesting experience... I stayed well clear of the overfriendly Ghanaian strangers and just danced with Charles! The music was amazing, full of bass and beat, and apparently it was being recorded/filmed for a local radio amongst other things.. I bet everyone was laughing at the crazy obroni (white people)..
I'm travelling to Kumasi very early tomorrow (5am!) so as I settle in I may not be around a computer much... i wanna update you all on everything that's been going on but it's late (We pack in a lot and get tired this early!) and I need to eat and pack, ready for tomorrow
All stay cool (in cold England...!) xxx

Wendyann How long will it take to get to Kumasi I wonder? - hope the journey is 'comfortable' and you have a great time there, God bless
Mummy Kemp I'm sure you'll learn to dance the Ghanian way! And to feel more comfortable around over friendly strangers - the men probably don't all want to marry you, just interested in knowing why you are there and talking to you. If they do ask to marry you please remember that this is a common request to females in Ghana and maybe its not to be taken too seriously (but suggest you decline politely so you don't find yourself at your own wedding the next day...!) Email to follow, saw Leon today so got more advice for you. Keep drinking lots. xxxxxx
Emma! Sounds like you're having an amazing time!! So jealous of the fresh mangoes and that, not so much the marriage proposals!! Keep safe bee, cannot wait to see you when you come home, lots of love from ez & all the family xxxx
