OK so yesterday we got to the airport at 10.30pm. We were in for a long night as the flight was at 6.10am! So we started by reading our books for a bit, there was no-one around as it was a small domestic terminal so it was really quiet. Ali decided to get some sleep so moved to another bit of the terminal where they have seats which are basically beds but without any covers! I read for a bit more then fell asleep for about an hour. I then moved onto a 'bed' and tried to get some more sleep. I have officially decided that sleeping at the airport is one of he worst places I've ever slept!! Woke up at 4.15am and the check in desk was open so we checked in and then moved to the departures lounge ready to board. Jet Star have to be the WORST airline I've ever flown with!! They don't allocate you seats so theres a manic rush when boarding starts and once aain our flight was delayed even thouh it was the first one of the day!! We got into Brisbane and Katrina and her friend (not sure how you spell her name but you pronounce is Ray-na!) picked us up and we went straight to Movie World. We met another of their friends there (Her name was Teely, not sure what kinda names these are!). It was a good day. We went on quite a few rides, they have a log flume here and on part of it you go down backwards! It was very scary and Ali is now claiming to be deaf in her right ear from my screams! lol. We got back to Katrinas at about 5pm and she had to work tonight but had arranged for us to go out for a meal with her boyfriend, his parents, sister and aunt, and Katrinas cousin. It was an all-you-can-eat buffet and worked out at about 6 pounds each so very cheap!! Tomorrow I think we are going to the Gold Coast to see what its like there and then Katrina is working aain tomorrow night so me and Ali are going to cook a meal for her and Bill to say thanks for having us. Not sure what the plan is for Friday but we were thinking of going ice skating and maybe to a comedy club in the evening, if we can get tickets. Then its off to the Sunshine Coast for the weekend. Glad everyone is well. Will and Ayse - Hope you guys enjoy Hong Kong! Are you still going to Italy? Hope your leg is better now Will!! Tracy - I plan on visiting R&D when I get back to the UK so I'll let you know all the news! And I'll email you the pics from my leaving do when I get back!! Hope you've settled into the Ozzy life now and that things are going ok. You have to send me some pics of your new house! Has Simon got a job sorted now? Miss you!
