I am volunteering with GAP Activity Projects (now called something hip and funky like 'Latitude´) at 'Campamento Camohmila' in Tepotzlan, Morelos, about an hour south of Mexico city. My placement is a YMCA camp where local kids stay during the week on a scholarship program (so they´re all well clever) and groups from other YMCA organisations or school groups come on holiday here at the weekends. I'm also teaching at three schools three mornings a week, some classes are great, some are..... a nightmare.
I do however get the odd weekend off, so I hope you're all looking forward to amazing photos of aztec pyramids and sombreros etc... and also plenty of the beach and SUN!
Feel free to ask questions/make comments - I'm sure I'll appreciate some communication in English after speaking Spanolo all the time, and I'll see you all in 6 months! xxx :)
