Day Eleven: August 18, 2010: Today everyone who was in Melbourne for the wedding went on the Great Ocean Road Tour. A 12 hour day (yawn!). The bus left at 8 am and it's a 2.5 hour drive out of the city and suburbs out to the coast where the Ocean Road is. The Road goes all along the southern coast. The tour drove the road, stopping at all the tourist places and spots for photo oppertunities. The highlights were: 12 apostles rock formations, Loch Ard Gorge , feeding the wild parrots, seeing wild koalas, all the small towns along the coast, southern rainforest walk (very different from the northren rainforest we saw in Cairns),and the remains of the london bridge. We finally got back into the city at 8:15pm. Very tired from the long day.

Arthur's parents arrived today,I just got back from a small gathering in their hotel room so see them, now I'm off to bed. Tomorrow off to Phillip Island for the start of wedding festivities, with a stop at a penguin burrowing site on the way out!
