Hello Vietnam!!

As I'm writing this I have been in Vietnam for nearly a week! Hanoi has been so mad and jammed packed I actually don't know where to start!!

After landing, we all got into a taxi and hit the mental roads of Vietnam! Oh my word, I can't actually describe how insane these roads are!!! There are no rules and basically every man for himself! If your walking then a motorcycle wins, if your on bike then the car wins, if your in a car then the minibus wins and so on. All you can hear is beep beep beep everywhere, see people over taking, under taking, weaving in and out of vehicles all at once! Madness as we later learnt trying to cross a road!

So the girls were back together for a week in Hanoi, me, Roz, Astley, Leanne & Alice and what a week it was!!! First headed out to Hoam Kiem lake for food, a walk and to soak in the madness! Lianne had heard about a puppet show so we found that & got the times for the evening show and went back. It was a very cultural and unique experience watching water puppets jump in & out of water in a small theatre with Vietnamese singers & a band playing very cultural music. I had giggles cause it was so funny & a bit surreal after Thailand. We decided to head to Halong Bay on an overnight tour the next day so we booked that with Vin at our hotel when we got back. The vietnamese people were so friendly & helpful with you especially compared to Thailand, at first you thought they was just trying to get you to book with them, but after searching prices, they was just as cheap as anyone and extremely friendly!

So the next day we headed on our overnight boat trip to one of the seven natural wonders of the world Ha Long Bay :)
