Becky Bravo's Adventures
Well, today is my last day in Maurtius. Sorry I did not blog before, I usually do to let you know that I arrived safely, but I am low in internet minutes, so this was the first time I could get my laptop off the ship and use the island's free wifi. Anyways, my time here was very cool. It was pretty chill. The first day we actually got here late because the weather was so bad. The last few days at sea before here was literally unbearable. I fell up the stairs and got this big bruise on my shin. (which probly would have happend anyways, knowing how clumsy I am.) I kept waking up in the middle of the night because things were falling everywhere and it sounded like our ship was being attacked. One of the days I couldnt even teach my kickboxing class because it was so rocky and I felt to sick. So needless to say I was happy when we got here. The first day was fun, we went to a beach, went shopping, and ate some really good Chinese food. The second day we went to yet another beach, did yet some more shopping, and eat even some more Chinese food. That beach on the second day was amazing though. I included a couple pictures for you. And I went parasailing!! It was incredible! I was up so high, it weirdly, it was so quiet and peaceful. The view was amazing. it only costed like 30 US dollars, so it was a good deal. I was up in the parachute for a good 10 minutes. Then today, the last day, I took an SAS trip and went snorkeling. That was fun. Pretty chill too. The boat we were on to go snorkeling was pretty cool. they let us jump off the top of it, and they served and incredible lunch. I saw a couple fish, but I am not too good with the snorkel, i kept swallowing mad seawater and it was starting to make me sick. But I still had fun anyways. Then I came back into town, was finally able to talk to Tim, and now I am using this free internet as much as I possibly can! I have a whole 7 days at sea until India, and after the trip here, I really am not looking forword to it. Tomorrow we don't have classes though. We are having the Sea Olympics. Each hall where the people live on the ship is called a 'sea' like mine is the Meditereanean Sea. And tomorrow will be a day of events with all the seas competing. It should be pretty intense because whoever wins are the first people off the ship in San Diego. My sea will so win! I am competing in the tug-of-war competition and the lipsynching competition. I will definately post some pictures from that, it should be fun. Well, I should go, I want to try calling my parents one last time because it gets really expensive to call home once I get to Asia. Please pray for smooth sailing on the way to India!
