I don't really have much to add, just classes have started up again and we are at sea until next Sunday, March 25. I am so excited for India though. After that, we will only have like 2 and three day stretches at sea between ports. I am very excited for that. I have a feeling after India the rest of the voyage is going to fly by. It kind of already has. Our first day in India is our half way point. Tonight was the Explorer Talent Competition. I thought it was just a talent show, so I totally signed up to sing and play guitar. But apparently it was like an American Idol type thing and there were three judges that would critique what you did. I didn't expect that, but I just wanted to play and sing, I really didn't care if I won or anything. So I played and sang "You Were Meant For Me" by Jewel - the only full song I can play, and not even very well, but I think its fun. I didn't think I did very well, but one of my friends videoed it and it went pretty great. I didn't win anything, but it was all good, because I didn't even know it was a competition! I do not have any still pictures of that, just the video, so if you are interested, I can show that to you once I get home too. The guy who does the video for the SAS dvd was right in front and took some video of me, so perhaps I will end up on the dvd at the end of the semester! He also had filmed me doing a kickboxing class once, plus, I know he was there at the lip synching thing so hopefully I will be on that dvd someplace!
