Becky Bravo's Adventures
I am on my boat!! It is so huge! I caught a cab from the resort a little bit after 10 this morning and got here to the doc. We had to wait in line for almost 2 hours just to get onboard. But that gave me a lot of time to talk with and get to know the people around me. We checked in, took care of any paperwork we needed to, then got to go to our room. The rooms are small, but actually much bigger than I expected. I got a lot of drawer and closet space. (Thank goodness!) and every room has its own bathroom. My roommate's name is Mary. She is from Austin, Texas and is 25. I am very thankful to have a roommate who is older like me. I can already tell we are going to get along just fine. We even have one class together. There is a picture of her with her life jacket on. There is also one of me. Aren't they just flattering? Once I dropped my stuff off in my room, we were free to roam around the ship. I ate lunch, met some more people, but then came back to my room. I was very eager to get all my stuff out of my suitcase and organized. So I put a Scrubs DVD on my laptop and began to unpack. I just finished. To make me feel more at home I even have two framed pictures of me and Timmy by my bed, and some pictures I was able to hang with magnets up by my bed. I posted some pictures of my room, so I hope you enjoy. I am already starting to feel comfortable here. Well, I gotta get going. The captain is making an announcement about the life boat drill which is in 15 minutes, so I gotta get my life jacket and get to my boat.
