Halong bay was amazing. It took us 4 hours to get to halong to join the boat it was called the dragon pearl. The weather was lovely in the morning but that soon changed when we got there, it started to rain. When we got on the boat we had lunch and sailed over to the caves, which were amazing inside. After the caves we went kaiyaking which was fun we got soaking wet as it was raining. We then went back on board and went swimming next to the boat and were jumping of from the top deck, Becky was the only girl that would jump of and is now regreting it as her bum hit the water first and she had a big bruise. After swimming we had dinner and then it was time to get drunk, we done kareoke with a couple and a girl that we met, Becky done YMCA and actually sung on the kareoke was really fun. Our room on board was lovely it had a balcany, we thought we might get sea sick but luckily never ha ha. The next morning we had a choice to get up at 6 and go morning swimming but we passed on that coz of the major hangover. Then we spent the day sailing back to Halong, and got back to Hanoi at dinner time and went for a lovely meal with the couple that we met on the boat.

Today we went to Hoa Lu Tam coc it took two hourse to get there we first went to see a temple for the old kings of Vietnam. Them we went on a bicycle ride which was really funny as it was pouring down we looked silly with our ponchos on and Vietnam hats. Along the way joes bike broke so we stayed behind to fix and the tour guide went ahead with the rest of the group and didn't notice we had stopped, so Joe stayed behind while Becky went to look for help. Joe thinks he nearly got ravaged by a pack of dogs while I was away but I think he's being a bit dramatic ha ha. Couldn't find the rest of the group so we left the bike and Joe walked. When they finally came back for us Joe had to drive b**** on the scooter to the resturant. After eating two Israelis got list for two hours and then were found and cought up to us, they started a huge fight with the tour guide coz they were blaming him for them not following us, they then pushed the tour guide and that when Becky came to the Vietnam tour guide and waas shouting at the Israelis and then that turned in to a huge row. But then we went on a boat down a river which finally calmed Becky down. After the boat ride we then had a uncomfortable bus journey back to Hanoi with the nine isralis that we had just been arguing with not fun at all. So all in all a very eventful day.

Tommorow we got a three day tour to Sappa were we will stay with a vietnamese family in a village.
