Well after a rocky start thats me finally in Vancouver!!! Cant quite believe i'm here. So first of all london was awesome. saw the lion king with mum and dad which was amazing...nearly as gd as we will rock u After an extremely bumpy,long 10hr flight which was spent watching about 3 inflight movies an episode of bones and CSI, so at least i was kept entertained we landed in a rather foggy vancouver! I'm still full of the cold so flight wasnt that enjoyable and i still cant hear out my right ear cause it hasnt popped hoping it will sort itself out soon!! Was in bed at half 6 last nite lol kept most of the dorm awake i think with my coughing then woke up at bout 4am...think i'm still jetlagged!!

First proper day in vancouver 2day was spent wandering around with a couple of fellow swappers while they looked for apartements then had the big orientation which was quite useful! canadian way of life is soooo different from the UK dnt think i cld become a canadain they charge u for everything!!! a woman spoke to us bout getting a fone and they charge u for caller display, having voicemail all the features we get for free!! not to mention charging u jst to have a bank account its ridiculous but anyway managed to set up an account and got all the boring stuff out of the way, spent all day out and about the time is jst flying by! Theres been talk of going out for drinks 2nite but think i mite jst have an early nite try get rid of this cold so i can do some proper sight seeing 2morro b4 i leave on my 13hr bus journey to banff!! Thats the bit i cant wait for we flew over the rockies on the way in i had forgotten how big everything is compared to scotland lol. our mountains look like mole hills compared to here!!
