Arrived in Perth on Friday morning and my cousin Ann picked me up from the airport and took me to Freemantle for lunch. A really nice little place with lots of historic buildings and cute cafes. After meeting her husband, Mark, and friend Sarah we went into the centre of Perth for dinner. A real buzz to the place and lots of clubs, bars and places to eat. We had a very nice Thai meal followed by coffee and dessert in a cafe. The following day Ann and I drove down to the farm near Margaret River. Luckily managed to have a few stops at wineries and cheese factory on the way! Had a lovely BBQ dinner at my other cousin, John, house with his family. Great to met his wife Nat and their cute children Emma and Luke. My uncle Bryan also came to dinner and then after staying at his farm for the night he drove me to the Watershed winery for a really nice lunch before heading to Binningup to see Grandad and Benita. On the way visited Margaret River, Prebbley Beach and Busselton. Spent the next couple of days relaxing with Grandad and Benita. Every morning walked on the beach and even saw dolphins close to the shore one day! Visited Bunbury and gnomesville (a place that has grown on a roundabout where people visit and leave a gnome - now a real community of 100s of gnomes!)
